Nell Clark: Licensed Acupuncturist, Diplomat of Oriental Medicine, Registered Nurse My mother migrated from Batangas, Philippines to Chicago in the 70s to pursue her nursing career. From a very young age, helping others was ingrained in me. I attended nursing school at the University of Texas in Austin due to the good advice of my mother. I graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Nursing. I enrolled in pre-med taking the dreaded organic chemistry and much loved physics courses. Although I have a deep respect for the physician community, I found that it was not my path. I became travel nurse and moved to Boston. I had the great opportunity to teach ACLS to hospital staff in Tegucigalpa Honduras. Then I found it….Chinese Medicine. After years of migraines and digestive issues I finally found something that not only works but continues to surprise and intrigue me. I earned a Masters of Science in Traditional Chinese Medicine with a Diplomat of Oriental Medicine. I have come full circle in realizing that the best care for individuals is to combine allopathic and holistic medicine. The rest is in the making! For over ten years, I’ve been a nurse in emergency medicine. Combining this experience with my passion for acupuncture, I integrate the two medicines so I may deliver the future of health care to the community.
Michelle Hines: Licensed Acupuncturist, Diplomat of Acupuncture, Registered Nurse My story, like a lot of practitioners, starts when Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture worked for me personally. After a surprising diagnosis of endometriosis, multiple surgeries and profound pain, I started acupuncture and it was the answer. I decided after years in nursing, a new path was awaiting me. I earned a Masters of Science in Traditional Chinese Medicine with a Diplomat of Acupuncture from The Colorado School of Traditional Chinese Medicine. I’ve been an Emergency Room nurse for over 8 years, earning my Bachelor’s in Nursing from The University of Northern Colorado, and feel the experience of that vast knowledge combined with Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture will allow me to provide comprehensive care to each of my patients.

Charleena Treanor: Massage Therapist, Aesthetician Charleena Treanor gained her passion for massage therapy when she was only 17 years old, due to multiple back-to-back car accidents that caused a painfully undependable back and unhealthy posture. Her chronic pain, which western medicine failed to improve, set her on a lifelong journey of learning alternative therapies to help others in the healing process of the body. Her life experiences have inspired Charleena to become experienced in many modalities of massage including: Swedish massage, Deep tissue, Neuromuscular Therapy, Aromatherapy, as well as earning her certification in Reiki and Reflexology. She uses a variety of techniques during each massage session to address the specific needs of her individual client, creating a personalized experience which allows the body to return to its natural balanced, relaxed state of being. Charleena graduated from Healing Arts Institute in 2003 for massage therapy and became a licensed Esthetician in 2006. Outside of work she enjoys her family, hiking, biking, yoga, meditation, painting, making jewelry and all forms of creativity. She has learned that the more she loves and cares for herself, the more room she has to love and care for others.
